Ross Fisher stresses need for patience at The Open

Cheam golfer Ross Fisher tells BBC Sport that staying patient will be crucial if he is to do well at the Open Championship.

The 33-year-old Wentworth professional, who has five career victories on the European Tour, failed to qualify for The Open last year.

Fisher tees off his first round at Hoylake at 15:00 BST on Thursday and will be playing alongside fellow Englishman Tommy Fleetwood and 1995 champion John Daly.
