Ryder Cup: Rory McIlroy 'in a trance' at Sir Alex Ferguson speech

Four-time major winner Rory McIlroy says a speech from former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson ahead of the Ryder Cup left him "in a trance".

As Europe look to beat USA for the eighth time in 10 contests, Ferguson spoke to the players about the key to winning as favourites.

Manchester United fan McIlroy said listening to the Scot speak was a "cool thing".
