Rory McIlroy 'feels good' ahead of US PGA Championship

World number one Rory McIlroy says he has recovered from injury and is ready to defend his title at the US PGA Championship, which starts on Thursday.

The 26-year-old from Northern Ireland suffered a "total rupture" of ligaments in his left ankle in July while playing football.

McIlroy played practice rounds at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin over the weekend and completed nine holes in the rain on Monday.
