Rory McIlroy 'hungry' after injury lay-off
Rory McIlroy says the injury lay-off that saw him miss his defence of The Open Championship title at St Andrews has left him with a "hunger" for success.
The Northern Irishman describes the quality of play in his absence by world number one Jordan Spieth and number two Jason Day as "motivating".
McIlroy believes he had "reached that level before" and that it is "just a matter of getting back there".
