The Open 2019: 'It's spectacular, unbelievable' - McIlroy on Royal Portrush

Four-time major winner Rory McIlroy says Royal Portrush is in great shape as he targets victory on home soil at the Open.

The world number three is also proud of the part he played in helping bring the tournament to Northern Ireland for the first time since 1951.

McIlroy will be among the favourites when action gets under way at the famous links course on 18 July.
