Ireland crash out of the European Hockey Championships after a 3-0 defeat against the hosts Belgium on Tuesday.

At 1-0 down Lisa Jacobs had a penalty stroke to get Ireland back in the match - but her penalty struck the post, and two further goals from the Belgians ended Ireland's hopes.

Ireland will now face Spain and Scotland in the EuroHockey relegation pool later in the week.
