Giants beat Hull to reach semi-finals

The Belfast Giants secure their place in the play-off semi-finals by completing a 7-3 aggregate victory over the Hull Stingrays.

Already 4-1 up from the first leg in Hull, Paul Adey's Elite League champions were 2-0 down at the Odyssey Arena but battled back to win 3-2 on the night.

Darryl Lloyd scored the winner for the Giants - the final goal of the season on their home ice.

Belfast now face the Fife Flyers in the semi-finals in Nottingham on Saturday.
