Giants beat Stars in shootout to top Challenge Cup group

The Belfast Giants secure top spot in their Challenge Cup group courtesy of a shootout win over Dundee Stars at the SSE Arena.

The hosts led three times through goals from Tyler Soy, David Goodwin and Scott Conway but were pegged back each time.

Conway was the only player in shootout to score, ensuring the Giants advanced to the quarter-finals as one of the seeded teams.
