Cardiff Devils head coach Jarrod Skalde says they have been competitive, but not at their best in cup and league competitions this season.

Skalde hopes to see his side's fortunes improve at the weekend in games against Guildford Flames in the Challenge Cup in Cardiff on Saturday, followed by an Elite League trip to Sheffield Steelers a day later.
