MotoGP: Dani Pedrosa claims Indianapolis Grand Prix pole
Spain's Dani Pedrosa claims pole position for Sunday's Indianapolis Grand Prix in a qualifying session marred by Casey Stoner's accident.
The Australian rider lost control of his bike early on in the session and was treated at the circuit's medical center for a torn right ankle ligament.
Meanwhile, fellow Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo qualified second and Andrea Dovizioso of Italy third, while Britain's Cal Crutchlow will start a disappointing seventh.
