Casey Stoner downbeat on MotoGP return after breaking ankle

World champion Casey Stoner says the chances of him returning soon to MotoGP are "definitely not good" after breaking his ankle at Indianapolis.

The Australian rider came off his bike during qualifying, but still managed to finish fourth in the race the following day.

Stoner missed Sunday's Czech Grand Prix as he prepared for surgery on his ankle in Australia.
