Steve Parrish tests Moto3 bike at Silverstone

BBC Sport's MotoGP commentator Steve Parrish rides a Moto3 bike for the first time at Silverstone.

The former British Superbike champion says controlling the Mahindra machine was "a bit like flying a really light aircraft", and says riders "have to be even more precise" than on a MotoGP bike due to the relative lack of engine power available to them.

The 250cc Moto3 category replaced the 125cc championship in 2012 as the third-tier feeder series for the MotoGP World Championship.
