MotoGP: Jorge Lorenzo wins controversial Australian GP

Jorge Lorenzo wins a controversial Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island as championship leader Marc Marquez is disqualified for delaying a compulsory pit stop.

Riders had to change bikes mid-race because of safety concerns over tyres, but Marquez was black-flagged after he failed to pit at the required time.

Lorenzo won ahead of Marquez's team-mate Dani Pedrosa, while Valentino Rossi pipped Britain's Cal Crutchlow for third.

Lorenzo now trails Marquez by 18 points going into next week's penultimate race in Japan.
