Lorenzo wins Japanese MotoGP to keep title hopes alive

Jorge Lorenzo wins the Japanese MotoGP to take the battle for the World Championship into the final round.

The reigning champion led from lights to flag at Twin Ring Motegi to beat Marc Marquez and close the deficit on his Spanish compatriot to 13 points ahead of the last race in Valencia.

Dani Pedrosa finished third, with Valentino Rossi fifth after struggling with brake problems early in the race.
