McGuinness happy as Harte rues missed chances in Ulster tie

Donegal boss Jim McGuinness is pleased after his team's Ulster SFC victory over Tyrone as Mickey Harte reflects on missed chances.

"We got a lot of things right although Tyrone dominated the middle of the park for long periods," said the Donegal boss after his team's 2-10 to 0-10 win at Ballybofey.

Harte felt that Donegal's first-half goal was crucial as he admitted that the Ulster and All-Ireland champions were "well worth their victory".

"Just at the time we were getting a foothold in the game, they got that goal in the first half which really rocked us back a bit," said the Tyrone boss, who added that his team will now hope for a run in the qualifiers.
