Derry earn McKenna Cup win over Fermanagh

Derry made it two wins from two in the 2014 Dr McKenna Cup with a 1-11 to 2-4 success against Fermanagh at Owenbeg.

Aaron Kerrigan scored Derry's goal early in the contest with brothers Seamus and Sean Quigley finding the net for the Erne county.

Afterwards, Derry boss Brian McIver made it clear he felt the counties should abide by competition rules and give the three university teams first call on college players.
