Kielt confident Derry can compete

Derry face tough opening league games against Tyrone and Kerry - but forward James Kielt insists they can hold their own in the top division.

Brian McIver's men were promoted from Division Two last year and Kielt said many observers expected them to make an immediate drop back down in 2014.

But he added: "We believe we can compete and get results. We feel we have got a chance in all of the games."
