North West 200: Spanish rider Antonio Maeso makes 'miraculous' comeback

Spanish rider Antonio Maeso says competing again at the North West 200 is a "miracle" three years after he almost lost a leg following a serious crash at the Isle of Man TT.

"Today is one of the greatest days in my life," said Madrid-born Maeso, 37.

"I wanted to make my comeback in a race that has always been so supportive to me, the North West 200.

"I've managed to get back on track. Nobody in their furthest imagination believed that I could do that."
