North West 200: Race Director Whyte monitoring developments 'on a daily basis'

North West 200 Race Director Mervyn Whyte says he is monitoring developments and receiving advice from health experts "on a daily basis".

Whyte says as it stands the event remains on but he is in regular contact with the Public Health Authorities and the Chief Medical Officer.

The race meeting is scheduled to be staged from 12-16 May.
