Keri-Anne Payne wins World Championship gold in Shanghai
British swimmer Keri-Anne Payne wins the 10k open water event at the Fina World Championships in Shanghai, booking her place at the London 2012 Olympics in the process.
The 23-year-old repeated her World Championship success from Rome two years ago and is the first British athlete to qualify for next year's London Games.
Payne completed the course at Jinshan City Beach in two hours, one minute and 58.1 seconds to finish ahead of Italy's Martina Grimaldi and Greece's Marianna Lymperta.
