London 2012: Stevenson defends GB Taekwondo over Cook row

World champion Sarah Stevenson defends GB Taekwondo in their selection row, after the British Olympic Authority (BOA) vetoed their nomination of Lutalo Muhammad.

The historic ruling means the selection panel must now reconvene at the "earliest opportunity" to review the decision that saw European champion Aaron Cook only selected as reserve fighter in the -80kg division.

GB Taekwondo will now take the BOA's recommendations into consideration and aim to resolve the situation by the middle of next week.
