Rio 2016: Irish Olympic Council boss Stephen Martin lauds Games facilities

Olympic Council of Ireland chief executive Stephen Martin praises the team's accommodation and other facilities as Irish competitors begin to arrive in Rio.

"We have about half the group here at the moment. We have good accommodation with 20 apartments for the team and we're close to food and transport," said the Olympic Council of Ireland chief.

"We've got a medical set-up in place now and we'll make it a really comfortable environment for everybody."

The Ireland team has 77 competitors across 14 sports.
