Katherine Grainger 'excited' about return to competitive rowing

Olympic champion Katherine Grainger tells BBC Sport's Andy Swiss she is "excited" about preparing to compete again after a two-year break.

The Briton announced she would be returning to the sport in September and says she hopes to take part in the 2016 Rio Olympics, by which time she will be 40.

Grainger, who has not raced since winning gold at London 2012 with Anna Watkins in the women's double sculls, will take part in a 5km time trial at the winter assessment trials at Boston, Lincolnshire on Sunday.
