Boat Races 2015: The story of the women's race

History will be made on the Thames on Saturday when the men's and women's Boat Race teams compete on the same day for the first time.

Nearly 90 years since the first women's Cambridge v Oxford University Boat Race, the women will compete on the same course as the men for the first time, as well as having equal television coverage and funding from sponsors.

Here BBC Sport hears from some of the women who have raced in the past and their struggle of equality.

The Boat Races are live from 16:15-18:35 BST on BBC One and 16:50-18:50 BST on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra.
