Martin Johnson still had a lot to offer England - Sir Ian McGeechan

British and Irish Lions legend Sir Ian McGeechan says it is a "disappointing day for rugby" following Martin Johnson's resignation as England manager.

The Bath director of rugby, who appointed Johnson as Lions skipper in 1997, believes his former charge "still had a lot to offer" England and describes him as a "great role model" for players.
