Ian Robertson backs Nick Mallet for England job
BBC rugby correspondent Ian Robertson is certain a non-Englishman will replace Martin Johnson as England manager and believes ex-Italy coach Nick Mallett is the "main contender" for the job.
Johnson resigned as England boss on Wednesday , externaland Robertson thinks ex-South Africa coach Jake White and former Australia boss Eddie Jones are also in the running for the managerial position.
Robertson believes the Rugby World Cup was the "final straw" for Johnson, but praises the World Cup winner for "going quietly with his honour intact".
