Six Nations 2013: Declan Kidney downbeat after Ireland-France draw

Ireland head coach Declan Kidney is disappointed his side did not go on to beat France after a "solid performance", and laments the fact his team could not "manage to close the deal" at the end of their 13-13 draw in Dublin.

France coach Philippe Saint-Andre thinks his team were "lacking confidence" after three defeats and were "slow to react" to Ireland's threat, but he was pleased with the "character they showed" to come back and grab a point.

Ireland captain Jamie Heaslip said the scoreline reflected the game and admitted that it "wasn't the prettiest game to watch".
