Wales flanker Sam Warburton says being made British and Irish Lions captain for the Australia tour is "an honour", but admits it was "surreal" when he found out.

Warburton was confirmed as captain by Lions coach Warren Gatland, who announced his 37-man squad on Tuesday.

Gatland says Warburton is a "modern day professional" who will do a "brilliant job" in the summer.
