Brian O'Driscoll decision brave - Sir Ian McGeechan

Legendary Lions coach Sir Ian McGeechan says he would have picked Brian O'Driscoll for Saturday's final Test against Australia because of his leadership skills.

The Test series is tied at one game apiece, and the decision to drop veteran centre O'Driscoll has caused much debate.

But McGeechan, who was head coach for the Lions on the 1989, 1993, 1997 and 2009 tours, believes Warren Gatland's tourists are in good shape to end the Lions' 16-year wait for a Test series win.
