Brian O'Driscoll: Joe Schmidt on search for legend's successor
Ireland coach Joe Schmidt says several players are in contention to take over from Brian O'Driscoll as Ireland's outside centre.
Legendary centre O'Driscoll played his last match for Ireland last weekend as they clinched the Six Nations title by beating France in Paris.
Robbie Henshaw, Darren Cave, Luke Fitzgerald and Fergus McFadden are among those battling to be the new outside centre and Ulster's New Zealand-born player Jared Payne - who will be eligible for Ireland in the autumn - is also in contention.
