Scottish RaceRunners win big at World disability Games

Three Scottish athletes have returned from the International Wheelchair & Amputee Sports Federation World Games with an incredible haul of 13 medals and six world records in the RaceRunning event in Stadskanaal, Netherlands.

RaceRunning uses specially designed trikes to allow athletes with celebral palsy to run and compete independantly.

Gavin Drysdale won four golds and four new world records in 100, 200, 400 and 800m. Kayleigh Haggo had gold in 200, 400 and gold at a world record time in 800m with a silver in the 100m and bronze in the club throw. While Hannah Dines brought home gold and a world record in 100m, silver in 200m, silver in 400m and bronze in 800m.
