Defender Sandy Jardine played for Rangers, Hearts and Scotland in a long and distinguished career.
He lost his battle with cancer on Thursday at the age of 65. These clips show the two-time Scottish player of the year in action for Rangers against Celtic and Aberdeen, starring for Scotland in a 0-0 draw against Brazil at the 1974 World Cup, and feature Hearts chairman Wallace Mercer welcoming his arrival at Tynecastle.
