Sports Personality: Cycling's Dave Brailsford is coach of the year

British Cycling performance director Dave Brailsford is named coach of the year at the BBC's Sports Personality of the Year awards.

The 48-year-old was named 2012 coach of the year after helping guide Team GB riders to eight gold medals for the second successive Olympics.

He is also a leading figure at Team Sky, which celebrated a historic Tour de France as Bradley Wiggins became the first British rider to win the event.
