"We were a five-strong British female team made up of Sally Orange, Kirsty Robb, Eve Armstrong, Brooke Nolan and Maddy Turnbull, who all trekked 250km across the Finnmark Plateau, the largest ice plain in Europe. Having not seen a soul except each other for the duration, we had a bit of a shock when we returned to reality and the impact of Covid-19, as we had been blissfully unaware of it because of a lack of communication with the outside world."
