Gemma Spofforth snatches 2012 spot with 100m backstroke win

Gemma Spofforth wins the women's 100m backstroke at the British swimming trials to grab a place in the 2012 team, narrowly beating Georgia Davies and Lizzie Simmonds.

Davies makes the GB team after taking second and swimming under 60.33 seconds, but Simmonds misses out.

Spofforth says she put everything into her race at London's Aquatics Centre as it may be "one of the last of her career".
