Wimbledon 2011: Maria Sharapova 'honoured' to reach semi-finals

Maria Sharapova admits reaching the semi-finals is a "great chance to take it a step further" and ultimately win her second Wimbledon crown.

The 24-year-old Russian took an hour to complete a 6-1 6-1 victory and set up a clash with Sabine Lisicki.

Sharapova, the 2004 Wimbledon champion, predicts a tough battle against the German, who progressed to the last four after a 6-4 6-7 (4-7) 6-1 win over France's Marion Bartoli.
