Serena Williams expresses her joy at going fourth on the all-time list of major winners alongside Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert following victory at the US Open.

The American beat Caroline Wozniacki 6-3 6-3 on Sunday to win her 18th Grand Slam title.

Denmark's Wozniacki, who suffered her ninth defeat in 10 meetings with Williams, described the American as "exceptional."
