Footballers surviving cancer: John Hartson meets Eliot Richards

Cheltenham Town footballer Eliot Richards, 24, feared the worst when he was told that he had testicular cancer. He thought his career was over and his life was at risk.

Now, six months after being given the all clear, the former Wales under-21 international is back playing and hoping to force his way into a Cheltenham side pushing for promotion back into the Football League.

Sport Wales sent the former Wales and Celtic striker John Hartson, himself a cancer survivor, to find out more and to see how Eliot is progressing.
