Julie Thomas: 'Visually impaired bowls changed my life'

Former headteacher Julie Thomas lost her sight 10 years ago but could now go to the Commonwealth Games.

Thomas represents Wales at visually impaired bowls and is a two-time Welsh champion.

She told BBC Wales Sport that taking up bowls helped "transform her life" and hopes to represent Wales in para-bowls at next year's Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast in Australia.
