Kim Butler scored 14 points as Great Britain beat Latvia 69-56 to reach the second round of EuroBasket 2013.
Having beaten Serbia in their opening game, GB are already through before Monday's meeting with hosts France.
Latvia led 37-36 in the third quarter but Damian Jennings' side took control with a 12-4 run.
"We set out a goal to make the second round. To do it in the first two games makes life a little easier in the third game," said the coach.
Butler made a crucial three-pointer on the buzzer at the end of the third quarter to give Great Britain a five-point lead against Latvia before being fouled out with three minutes remaining in the Group C game in Trelaze, France.
She said: "This was a great victory for us. Being 2-0 in our second European Championship, it means a lot to Great Britain and we are very proud."
