Wales' Lee Selby will defend his IBF featherweight title against former world champion Jonathan Victor Barros.

Argentine Barros narrowly beat Satoshi Hosono on a split decision in Tokyo to become the mandatory challenger for Selby's title.

The fight is likely to take place in December.

The 29-year-old Welshman has not fought since his second successful title defence against American Eric Hunter at London's O2 Arena in April 2016.

Barros, 32, held the WBA featherweight title from 2010-11 and made two successful defences.

His UK promoter Eddie Hearn has criticised the fighter's inactivity, with the Argentine having only fought twice in 17 months.
