Michael Conlan will fight Jordan Gill in Belfast on 2 December after joining forces with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom.
Conlan, 31, parted ways with American promoter Bob Arum's Top Rank organisation on Friday.
The Olympian will look to get back to winning ways against Englishman Gill, who is also coming off a loss.
"I've had many great nights here and I'm looking forward to creating more," Conlan said.
"Jordan is a good fighter but one standing in my way to where I want to go."
Conlan is a two-time world title challenger and was stopped by IBF champion Luis Alberto Lopez in May.
Gill has spent a year on the sidelines after a gruelling defeat by Kiko Martinez.
Both fighters are eager to get back into world-title contention with a win.
"I think Mick is a world-class fighter, and I'm buzzing to get the opportunity to prove my skills," Gill said.
"We've both had our setbacks and are hungry for world titles. Belfast will be bouncing and I can't wait to come over and give everyone a show."
Conlan had been part of the Top Rank stable throughout his professional career since making his professional debut at Madison Square Garden in 2017.
"I'm very thankful and grateful to work with such a great company, but now I feel it's time for change," he said.
"What a ride it was, from my debut at The Garden in 2017 up until now. Thankyou Bob and the whole team at TR," added Conlan on X, formerly Twitter.
The Olympic bronze medallist was unbeaten in 16 professional fights before losing to Leigh Wood in a contest for the WBA (Regular) featherweight title in Nottingham in March 2022.
Conlan got his career back on track with wins over Miguel Marriaga and Karim Guerfi at the SSE Arena in Belfast, but suffered the fifth-round stoppage by Lopez in a bout for the IBF featherweight crown in May at the same venue.
