"This is his defining moment and you are taking it away from him," says trainer Shane Mcguigan to Billam-Smith as he sends his champion out for the final round.
In Riakporhe's corner, his trainer digs into him. "You've got to be first!"
Riakporhe NEEDS a knockout now.

Billam-Smith is not giving Riakporhe the space to put the power down and that has been the story of this fight.
Billam-Smith v Riakporhe
Riakporhe has been given what looks like a final warning before a point is deducted for use of his head.
The challenger shrugs that off and goes on the attack, landing a right hand.
You wouldn't know it though as Billam-Smith comes back with a combination of his own.
Billam-Smith has swelling under both eyes, he's carrying more damage but looks to be on track to retain his title.

Huge two rounds coming up.

You've get to let it all hang out because this is a huge opportunity. Riakporhe is in front of his home crowd and he's got to use that to his advantage.
Billam-Smith v Riakporhe
Riakporhe leans on the ropes and draws Billam-Smith on before looking to counter up the middle. It's not a clean shot though.
Referee Steve Gray feels the need to have a word with both fighters, I'm not sure what that was about. Possibly for holding?
"You're wrestling, you're wrestling" is the message from the referee in the final seconds to both fights.
I guess that answers the earlier question.

Home support on their feet for Riakporhe, a big moment in this fight.
Billam-Smith v Riakporhe
Riakporhe starts the round with intent and is throwing heavy shots. He's down by seven rounds by my eye and needs a stoppage to take the title.
He's hunting for that stoppage too as he finds a home with a right and forces Billam-Smith into the corner. Riakporhe continues to throw big shots but they aren't landing cleanly.
This time he does catch Billam-Smith who leans back on the ropes to avoid further damage.
No doubt that is the best round of the night for Riakporhe.

A contingent of Billam-Smith fans over to my left continue to chant his name.
Billam-Smith v Riakporhe
Riakporhe looks hurt for a moment. He backs off after catching a left hook and uses the corner of the ring to steady himself.
A great response from the challenger, though, as Riakporhe lands a right hook and it's Billam-Smith who is now having to show some grit.
Billam-Smith punctuates the round with a combination.

Some strong and clear words in the corner of Riakporhe between rounds from trainer Angel Fernandez.
"You're letting this world title get away from you" is followed by some choice words that are best left in the corner.
Billam-Smith v Riakporhe
Into the second half of the fight and I've got Billam-Smith comfortably in front by four rounds to two - Riakporhe needs to turn this around and quickly.
Riakporhe might be the challenger but he has home advantage tonight at Selhurst Park and he needs those fans to get behind him.
Billam-Smith evades a right hook in the corner and returns down the middle.
There's not a lot in most of these rounds but Billam-Smith keeps doing just enough.

Riakporhe has landed the bigger shots so far but Billam-Smith continues to deliver the intensity and is throwing more.

The thing we know about Riakporhe's punch power, a fight can go a certain way, but it only takes one!
