Summary

  1. Round 10published at 23:38 BST 25 October

    Parker v Wardley

Wardley gets stopped in his tracks as Parker lands a thudding straight right. Parker is reading Wardley like a book now. Perhaps the difference in experience is showing.

This is truly incredible stuff. Wardley looks done, but turns the tables on Parker and looks to finish it.

I just can't believe no one has been dropped yet.

  3. Round ninepublished at 23:34 BST 25 October

    Parker v Wardley

Parker lands about four consecutive left hooks but Wardley's nice feet get him out of trouble. Parker lands with the left hook and hurts Wardley but the Briton is so dangerous when hurt.

Parker is reading the head movement of Wardley all day long as he comes again with the left hook but Wardley lands the hook to the body.

    Crackling stuff.

I think both of them are feeling the pace now, which is understandable.

Even though I have Parker way in front, this fight is poised.

  5. Round eightpublished at 23:30 BST 25 October

    Parker v Wardley

Can Wardley find that massive right hand again? Well, he swings big, but Parker sees it coming. Parker is taking the sting out of this one after those crazy opening three rounds.

Parker is behind the jab and looking for the opening rather than engaging in an all-out slugfest but that's a good, steady round for Wardley.

We have been spoiled by the first three rounds of this fight. It's one of those fights that might be dividing people.

I have it as Joseph Parker 4-3 or 5-2.

    Parker v Wardley

I've got this 5-2 for Parker now.

Wardley is in needing a knockout territory, but he's been here before.

  8. Round sevenpublished at 23:26 BST 25 October

    Parker v Wardley

Looks like coach Andy Lee has got a grip of Parker and got him back on the game plan as he sets himself and lands a massive right hand on the chin of Wardley. Parker pounces on Wardley with the left hook this time.

    I think Wardley is tiring.

Wardley's power of recovery is incredible. He has been hit with clean shots and he is back to normal after a few seconds. He is a tough kid, he really is.

I'm no judge but I've got this fight 4-2 in Parker's favour.

  12. Round sixpublished at 23:22 BST 25 October

    Parker v Wardley

A bit of a quieter round as both men tire and neither want to give much away but Parker comes forward and lands with a hard right. Wardley is getting tagged more than Parker now but he comes back with a beautiful uppercut.

I'd say Parker is starting to take control of this fight but Wardley is always in it.

There is some better boxing now from Parker and Wardley is starting to recognise that. He has upped the pace because he knew he was getting out-boxed at distance.

  15. Round fivepublished at 23:19 BST 25 October

    Parker v Wardley

Wardley looks so sharp tonight. He's lighter than Parker and it shows. Parker lands with a hard left hook to the body and Wardley definitely felt that.

Wardley takes centre ring and looks to work the jab but Parker is doing what he said he'd do and fight fire with fire.

Fabio Wardley is like a cornered tiger. When you think he is beaten, he can bring that knockout shot.

    This is a great fight.

How we've not had a knockdown, I'll never know.

  18. Round fourpublished at 23:14 BST 25 October

    Parker v Wardley

Both men are already looking drained after throwing and taking some enormous punches. It's a bit of a slower round, with both trying to jab and time that punch to end it all.

It's Parker who connects and engages, but back comes Wardley with the uppercut.

Both of them are taking desperate but fabulous risks for the crowd. Dreadful for the corners to watch.

I reckon this is a LOT harder than what Parker initially thought.

This has to be the best performance Wardley has put in during his career.
