  2. How Joshua got back to his bestpublished at 19:32 British Summer Time 20 September

    Dubois v Joshua

Between 2016 and 2022, Joshua competed in 12 successive world title fights.

That run started when he beat American Charles Martin for the IBF belt and ended when he lost his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk, with the Ukrainian retaining the WBA (Super), WBO and IBF titles.

Joshua's last four fights have taken place without a single belt on the line, but that run ends on Saturday when he has an opportunity to become a three-weight world champion if he beats Dubois.

During Thursday's news conference, Joshua admitted it was "good to be back" and said he'd been watching some of his old fights to "add fuel to the fire".

Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren have been doing their best to keep up with the Hollywood vibe during this fight week.

Can you believe that they only met for the first time in November?

They were co-promoting the card headlined by Anthony Joshua and Otto Wallin, which took place in December.

Now they look like the best of buds.

Fight week always brings up a sub-plot or two. There have been rumours circulating of a rift between Dubois and his trainer, Don Charles.

The coach has been absent all week, but quashed the "vicious lie" by saying he has been in bed with a bad cold and the plan is for him to be in Dubois' corner.

Charles told Talksport: "The most sensible thing to do was not go near my fighter because can you imagine if I gave this to him? Then there will be no fight.

"It's subsided, I feel strong again and we will not be denied".

Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn and Queensberry promoter Frank Warren are becoming as central to these fight weeks as the fighters.

The pair joined Steve Bunce earlier in the week to preview a massive night at Wembley.

Hearn offers a glimpse into his boxer Joshua and explains why he thinks the Olympic gold medallist will prevail.

Warren looks at Dubois growth over the past year and, you guessed it, presents his case as to why his fighter will come out on top.

The lion's share of that support was for Joshua.

Chants of 'AJ, AJ, AJ' brought a big smile from Joshua and there was a huge roar when he started speaking on stage.

Dubois, as he was at yesterday's news conference, was eager to get away from the microphone as quickly as possible.

Ahhhhh, the tension is building beautifully for this one.

  19. Dubois rising through the weightpublished at 18:48 British Summer Time 20 September

Dubois has been settling into his 6ft 5in frame over the past few years, trying to get the best out of his tools and it seems to be working.

The 27-year-old was his lightest in six years when he stepped on the scales prior to his fight against Oleksandr Usyk (right image), weighing 16st 9lb, in August 2023.

In December 2023, Dubois jumped up six pounds to a weight of 17st 1lb for his next bout against American Jarrell Miller in Saudi Arabia (centre image).

Dubois' most recent trip to the ring came when he beat Filip Hrgovic for the interim IBF title in June and he had further bulked to 17st 7lb (left image).

Are we expecting that trend to continue?
