It's not quite the start he had against Carl Frampton in 2018 that practically blew the Belfast man away, but this is impressive from Warrington.

This is the best I've seen Warrington look for quite a while as he displays his skills when fighting on the inside. Cacace still looks as though he's trying to figure out how to approach this fight.

Warrington is looking to make it a perfect day for him after his beloved Leeds claimed a 2-0 win at Cardiff earlier this afternoon.

    Cacace v Warrington

Warrington looks to up the intensity early in the second round and, in typical Warrington fashion, he rushes Cacace and lands some strong body shots.

What a round for Warrington as he lands a hard right uppercut. Cacace might be the bigger man but he needs to start showing that.

Tasty opening round at Wembley with Cacace stamping his authority and claiming the middle of the ring. Warrington threw and landed a couple of left hooks but no danger for Cacace.

    Good opener.

Here we go and what a fight this promises to be.

Josh Warrington, moving up in weight, is looking to be on the front foot but Anthony Cacace looks quite a bit bigger than Warrington here.

When Josh Warrington beat Carl Frampton in 2018, it was a world featherweight title bout that had the world of boxing transfixed.

Unleashing a ferocious, front-footed assault on Frampton in the early rounds, Warrington produced one of the performances of his career.

But nearly six years on, the 'Leeds Warrior' steps up to super-featherweight after a couple of setbacks to face another hardened Belfast fighter in Anthony Cacace.

Cacace, for whom a big break long proved elusive, is riding the crest of a wave after a dominant TKO win over Joe Cordina in May made him a world champion.

That Warrington cannot win Cacace's belt is certainly disappointing, but make no mistake - this one is not to be missed and could prove a irresistible appetiser for tonight's main course.

  11. Why Cacace's world title is not on the linepublished at 18:09 British Summer Time 21 September

    Cacace v Warrington

Many of you might be wondering why is Anthony Cacace's IBF super-featherweight world title is not on the line tonight and I was even asking the question myself during the week.

Here's a short explanation to keep you all in the loop with what could potentially to the title and why Josh Warrington won't be walking out of Wembley with it, even if he wins.

The sanctioning body does not recognise Warrington as a challenger because of his inactivity as a super-featherweight [this is his debut in the division]. But while Warrington cannot win the title at Wembley, it will be vacated if he beats Cacace.

  15. Passing of the torch or will experience prevail?published at 18:02 British Summer Time 21 September

This is a night which could form its own chapter in the history books.

Anthony Joshua has a wealth of experience but the 34-year-old won't be around forever.

So could Daniel Dubois – seven years younger –take over the mantle as British boxing's heavyweight poster boy?

After the disappointment of losing his rematch to Oleksandr Usyk, Joshua went gone back to school and plotted his back to world-title contention.

Four wins later, his operation rebuild comes to a conclusion at Wembley Stadium.

Dubois has proudly paraded his shiny IBF belt all week but after upgraded from interim belt holder to world champion when Usyk vacated, he still craves that crowning moment.

We are just a matter of hours from the rare sight of two British boxers fighting for a heavyweight title on home soil.

IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois makes the first defence of his belt against Anthony Joshua at a packed Wembley stadium.

Can Dubois, who was elevated to champion status after Oleksandr Usyk vacated the belt in June, legitimise his standing or will Joshua become a three-weight world champion?

Tension has been building all week and - after a short set from Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher - we will finally get the answer.
