    Dubois v Joshua

Anthony Joshua is asked how he is feeling:

"It's a blessing to be back again and to prove to my team and everyone that I've done the right things in camp.

"It's good to be back. I'm ready to rumble and remind everyone what I'm capable of.

On facing Dubois: "We'll find out [what Dubois has to offer]

"I can't say. I'm not Daniel. All I can do is focus on myself."

    Dubois v Joshua

Daniel Dubois is asked about rumours of an issue with his coach Don Charles who has been absent during fight week.

"As long as he's in my corner on fight night then I'll be alright. Everything is good," Dubois says.

I failed to mention Anthony Joshua also has an AirPod in.

It's almost a trademark of his style now to be wearing just one of them.

I like to picture that he's got Ant and Dec in his ear trying to put him up to some pranks.

Speaking of Matchroom's Eddie Hearn and Queensberry's Frank Warren, the pair have just been invited on to stage by ring announcer Michael Buffer.

The impeccably dressed Daniel Dubois is the first of the two fighters to make his walk from the wings at Guildhall.

Anthony Joshua has opted for a more casual look, tracksuit, gloves and a drinks bottle.

While we wait for the second part of this news conference to get under way, fancy a caption contest?

Unfortunately, I can't offer any real prizes but a sense of pride should be enough.

    Dubois v Joshua

The tension is building as we wait for IBF champion Daniel Dubois and Anthony Joshua.

The iconic Michael Buffer is at the side of the stage so it won't be long until we hear the famous "let's get ready to rumble!"

  9. Does the glove fit?published at 19:19 British Summer Time 19 September

    Kal Sajad
BBC Sport journalist at Guildhall, London

Joshua has been wearing black gloves during media engagements this week.

Seeing as it's been well over 20C every day, one can only presume it has been to protect him from germs so close to fight night.

Former WBC flyweight champion Charlie Edwards on X: "Although I like Tyler Denny and he is an old school type of fighter with a great corner team. I just can’t see past a Sheeraz stoppage. The guy punches like a maul and his leavers are so long. Hard night work for anyone in the world."

  11. 'Been through a lot of pain'published at 19:12 British Summer Time 19 September

    Dubois v Joshua

    Anthony JoshuaImage source, Matchroom

Anthony Joshua is looking to join an elite group of fighters in becoming a three-time heavyweight champion on Saturday.

The 2012 Olympic gold medallist has endured a tough three years, admitting he has "been through a lot of pain", but feels he has come out the other side and is ready to return to the top.

Joshua suffered the second defeat of his career in September 2021, losing via unanimous decision and relinquishing his WBA, IBF and WBO titles to Oleksandr Usyk.

Ukraine's Usyk won the rematch in August 2022 by split decision.

Joshua has since rebuilt his reputation and worked his way back to mandatory challenger position by reeling off four successive victories against Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, Otto Wallin and Francis Ngannou.

"I've worked hard and been through a lot of pain, and I've worked hard to get better," he told BBC Sport.

"Hopefully those experiences won't happen again because as you saw that night, I don't like losing.

"I think I'm gifted with an ability to fight and compete. In boxing you're able to read certain tendencies, you're able to read your opponent, so I can always have an eye for that.

"But there's a supreme level that you can take it to. And it's happened over the past eight or 10 months. I've really honed in on those skills."

  12. A royal public workoutpublished at 19:10 British Summer Time 19 September

Wembley Arena was transformed into Buckingham Palace yesterday for the public workouts. Two blokes imitating King's Guards opened some makeshift gates as each fighter made his way to the ring.

After champion Dubois went through his light pad work first, it was Joshua's turn.

But instead of a light pad workout, AJ invited seven young boxers form his former gym, Finchley Amateur Boxing Club, into the ring and led the group in a shadow boxing session.

  13. Boxing with Bunce - The Grand Arrivalspublished at 19:09 British Summer Time 19 September

    BBC Sounds

    Boxing with Steve Bunce graphic

On Wednesday, in episode two of this week's Boxing with Steve Bunce podcast, the Grand Arrivals took place outside the Odeon Cinema in Leicester Square.

Former world champion Darren Barker and Bunce have spoken with both Daniel Dubois and Anthony Joshua this week, and discussed what they had learnt about the pair as fight night draws ever closer.

Joshua appeared on the podcast on Tuesday, so it was Dubois' turn to make an appearance - explaining why he can't let the occasion get the better of him as he gears up to fight in front of a British-record 96,000 at Wembley on Saturday.

As if that wasn't enough, former undisputed heavyweight world champion Lennox Lewis also dropped in for a chat to share some of his memories of big fight nights and he also gives a prediction as to how he think this one plays out.

Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren are on the stage. They posed for some photos and now look in deep conversation.

The sight of the former foes becoming friends still takes some getting used to.

  18. 'Show up and get the knockout'published at 19:02 British Summer Time 19 September

    Hamzah SheerazImage source, Matchroom

    Over to Hamzah Sheeraz:

"I'm honoured [to be on this card].

"I like having expectations on me because I show up and get the knockout out.

"He [Denny] does what he has to do, he's beaten the people in front of him but I'm nothing like the last five fighters he has upset. I go out to Los Angeles and I'm very disciplined. I understand a mission of what I've set out to do and how I'm going to achieve it."

  19. 'No way I'm losing the fight'published at 19:00 British Summer Time 19 September

    Sheeraz v Denny

Last up are Hamzah Sheeraz and Tyler Denny, who meet for the European middleweight title.

    Denny is first to talk.

"I'm not going to bad mouth him. He's a great fighter but so am I.

"He's a world level fighter but I believe in myself and I'm willing to fight anyone. When I got the call I couldn't accept it quick enough.

"I understand why I'm the underdog but I've been the underdog throughout my whole career and I keep winning. There's no way I'm losing the fight."

Looking forward to a proper heavyweight dust up and good atmosphere in London. Favouring Joshua slightly but if Dubois connects think it could be lights out for Joshua.
