I've been in Saudi Arabia for Joshua's past two fights. Fight weeks in the kingdom are generally low key. This week has been the complete opposite.

Fans managed to get close to the boxers at what was a strictly media-only event on Monday, while Tuesday’s grand arrivals were, erm, pretty grand.

The fighters then experienced the full Hollywood movie premiere treatment, gracing the red carpet at the Odeon Cinema in Leicester Square.

This evening's news conference is going to be split into two sections.

We'll have the undercard up first at around 18:00 BST and then, once we've heard from those fighters, it's over to Daniel Dubois and Anthony Joshua.

We don't have an exact time on when Dubois and Joshua will hit the stage, it'll all depend on how talkative the other 10 fighters want to be.

'Don't disrespect me' - Joshua and Dubois get heated

Let's hope someone has bolted the furniture to the stage for tonight's news conference.

Back in June, IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois and Anthony Joshua had to be restrained by security during a heated interview after the latter threatened to throw a chair across the face of his rival.

Two-time world champion Joshua said he was "ready to fight", to which Dubois replied: "Let's go. If he wants to swing, let's go now."

Joshua, visibly annoyed, told Dubois not to disrespect him, adding: "I’ll throw this [expletive] chair across your face."

You can watch the full exchange above.

As is often the case in boxing, it's a complicated story as to how Daniel Dubois became the IBF heavyweight champion.

Our journey begins back on 19 May when Oleksandr Usyk became boxing's first four-belt undisputed heavyweight champion after beating Tyson Fury to add the WBC title to his WBA, WBO and IBF collection.

On 2 June, Daniel Dubois beat Filip Hrgovic via an eighth-round stoppage to become the interim IBF heavyweight champion.

Just 23 days later, Dubois was elevated to IBF champion after Usyk was forced to vacate his belt when he opted to face Fury in a rematch - scheduled for 21 December - rather than agreeing a bout with Dubois.

That meant Dubois was handed the belt without taking it from a champion, leading some to question the legitimacy of his standing.

Dubois, who was stopped by Usyk in the ninth round when they met in August 2023, has vowed to silence those critics by beating Anthony Joshua on Saturday.

    That really is impressive, Kal.

Try not to cause any damage, you'll have a tough time getting that covered on expenses!

    Guildhall

    This venue is something else.

I made my way through an art gallery where each framed work is probably worth triple my house, past a bronze bust of King Charles, dodged statues of a load of Lords who apparently were a big deal, and am now in my seat.

Good evening from the quite breathtaking Guildhall in London. We've got a museum, art gallery and even a medieval chamber. It's a little eery to be honest.

Anyway, to the boxing. Fight weeks are when all us pugilism lovers become body language experts.

'AJ' has been relaxed all week, enjoying hugs from fans and handing out plenty of fist bumps. He appears to be enjoying himself.

Dubois looked a little vacant at Monday's media day, leading to further questions on whether he would be overwhelmed by the magnitude of the occasion.

But 'Triple D' did perk up a little at the Grand Arrivals a day later, grinning ear to ear as he marched down the red carpet in super quick time.

Big fight nights are becoming commonplace in boxing.

We are just over 48 hours away from arguably the most exciting card to have been assembled on English soil.

A British record 96,000 will be inside Wembley on Saturday to watch Daniel Dubois defend his IBF title against Anthony Joshua.

Sadly, you'll have to wait until Saturday to see any punches thrown, but we are going to be hearing from the two protagonists at this evening's news conference.

We should also be hearing from some of the many stars on the undercard, including IBF super-featherweight champion Anthony Cacace, Josh Warrington, European middleweight title hopeful Hamzah Sheeraz and WBO interim light-heavyweight title contenders Joshua Buatsi and Willy Hutchinson.

We'll be bringing a live video stream of the news conference and also building up to this weekend's main event.
