The opening day of the County Championship Division One clash between Somerset and Yorkshire at Taunton has been abandoned without a ball being bowled because of rain.
The match, scheduled to start at 12:00 BST, was eventually called off for the day at 16:00 BST after persistent rain.
Somerset are without a win after six Championship matches this season.
Yorkshire are fourth after beating county champions Warwickshire at Edgbaston last week.
