Nottinghamshire v Yorkshire: Alex Hales leads Notts to victory

Nottinghamshire reached the FLt20 quarter-finals as Alex Hales helped beat Yorkshire with four overs in hand.

Samit Patel (3-19) dismissed Alex Lees and David Hodgson cheaply, but Richard Pyrah helped his side recover from 71-5 in the 11th over to reach 132-7.

He was well set on 41 with an over left but Patel sent him packing, conceding just four from the final six balls.

Hales hit a superb 62 from 38 balls in reply before falling in the 11th over, but Notts coasted to a six-wicket win.
